Irish Baseball Movie Soundtrack Released

The music behind 2006?s most anticipated independent film has been released on CD. ?The Emerald Diamond: Music From the Motion Picture? functions 24 songs from leading Irish bands in addition to movie soundbytes from the film.

Irish bands and musicians from across the globe have donated songs to the project with music ranging from classic jigs and reels to punk makeovers of classic Irish tunes. New York?s Irish ?supergroup? Whiskey on a Sunday ? consisting of members of Shilelagh Law and Sullivan?s Jack — recorded a number of songs specifically for the film, although former San Diego Padres infielder Tim Flannery donated songs from his solo albums.
